Since there are so many people out there looking for golf carts these days, this can be a very profitable business for someone who is handy when it comes to making repairs on different types of vehicles.
The first thing you will need to consider after you have made the decision to make a go of it with buying used and broken golf carts is where exactly to get them. You can place an ad in your local newspaper or on a variety of online classifieds asking for people to sell you their old and broken down golf carts or you can look for existing ads. In addition, you may check some of you local junkyards as they often have trashed golf carts just waiting to be demolished.
The nicest golf courses can be found in south Portugal. Golf in the Algarve is probably one of the finest things for a proper Golfer.
Some of the old golf carts you get may have to be totally rebuilt from the ground up and others may only have minor mechanical difficulties. This is why buying a dozen or so of them at a time will give you a better chance of yielding a higher profit. In some cases, you may have a golf cart that would be cheaper to just break down and use for parts and that will be an excellent way of obtaining much needed parts for another golf cart. In this way you can seriously realize a nice profit with little money out of pocket.
